JobTread pricing explained

JobTread has one plan with every feature. As published on its pricing page in October 2026, the cost is a $199 per month base fee that includes one internal user, plus a per-user charge for each additional internal user: $20 each for users 2 to 10, $15 each for 11 to 20, $10 each for 21 to 30, and $5 each beyond 30 on monthly billing. Annual billing saves 20 percent, which brings those user rates to $16, $12, $8, and $4. Customer, subcontractor, and vendor portal users are free and unlimited, and there is no contract or setup fee.

How JobTread's pricing works

There are no tiers to climb. Estimating, job costing, budgets, change orders, scheduling, daily logs, AIA payment applications, customer portals, selections, and the QuickBooks Online integration are all in the same plan. What changes the bill is how many internal users you have and whether you pay monthly or annually.

The breaks are marginal, like tax brackets. User number 12 costs $15 on monthly billing, but users 2 through 10 still cost $20 each. JobTread's page states that price breaks apply only to users within each tier.

Who counts as an internal user

This is the part that decides your bill, so read it carefully. JobTread defines internal users as employees who need access to customer and vendor information, job management, schedules, time tracking, or reports. Accountants and some non-employees can count too. On the other side:

• Free: customer portal users, subcontractor portal users, and vendor portal users, with no limit.
• Free: certain field crew who only upload photos, log daily notes, or view schedules and tasks.
• Paid: anyone in the office, project managers, estimators, and anyone running reports or seeing costs.

So a crew lead who only posts photos and daily notes may be free, while the same person clocking time and checking job budgets probably is not. Ask JobTread to confirm the status of each role before you set people up.

The annual figures assume the 20 percent saving applies to the whole bill. The page lists discounted annual user rates but does not print a separate annual base price, so confirm the exact annual base with JobTread before you budget.

What is included, and what to ask about

Included at no extra charge, per the pricing page: implementation, training, and support, a live training session with help importing contacts and cost item lists, a dedicated customer success manager, data imports, prebuilt job templates, and unlimited jobs, documents, and files. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee on the monthly subscription. There is no free trial.

Hidden costs to ask about:

1. Online payment fees. JobTread lets you collect client payments online, but the pricing page does not list processing rates. Ask before you turn it on for large draws.
2. User creep. Bookkeepers, outside accountants, and part-time estimators can each become paid internal users. Count them now.
3. Your setup time. Free onboarding does not build your cost codes and estimate catalog for you. Budget a few weeks of office time.
4. Accounting sync. JobTread integrates with QuickBooks Online. If you are on QuickBooks Desktop or another ledger, ask what that means for you.
5. Currency. Prices are in U.S. dollars, so contractors paying by card from outside the U.S. pay whatever exchange rate their card uses.

When JobTread's price makes sense

Run the numbers against what the software replaces. Say a remodeler with 6 internal users pays $299 a month on monthly billing ($199 plus 5 users at $20). If the office manager stops rebuilding a budget spreadsheet every Friday and the PMs stop chasing change order signatures by text, a few saved hours a week covers that. The math gets harder for a solo contractor, who pays the full $199 base for one login. That person may be better served by a lower-priced single-user plan until a second office hire arrives.

The other test is fit. JobTread's feature list leans toward builders, remodelers, pool and outdoor living contractors, roofers, and specialty trades, with selections, allowances, homeowner financing, and warranty management. A commercial sub that never deals with a homeowner pays for those features without using them, even though they do not add cost on their own.
